Applies to: For GO! exec model 9765 and the Iridium GO! exec companion app. These Phone-screen and Line 1/Line 2 checks are not the earlier Iridium GO! app, WhatsApp audio, a SIP-phone configuration or satellite-to-cell service. The linked manufacturer manual is version 2.1 from March 2024, hosted by distributor E-SAT; match your displayed controls if later firmware differs.

| Not registered or voice not provisioned | Read the device’s network status before changing phone settings. If it is still searching or reports voice not provisioned, use the separate registration guide and ask your authorized provider about the SIM and voice service. A phone connected to the local GO! exec Wi-Fi can still show “no internet”; that alone does not diagnose the voice line. Stay on the unit’s own Wi-Fi for the companion-app route. The touchscreen speakerphone provides a separate path from the smartphone app. |

Work through these checks
Check the registered device and matching app
Read the device’s network status before changing phone settings.
What the result means: Move to the registration guide if the device has not registered.
Inspect the two voice lines
In the app, open Phone and its keypad tab. Inspect Line 1 and Line 2 before repeatedly tapping Call. The manual identifies a green call button as an available line and a red one as a line in use. If both are busy, wait for a line to become free; do not end somebody else’s active call. A busy line is not proof of a broken antenna, and four connected Wi-Fi users do not create four independent voice lines.
What the result means: Wait for an available line instead of ending another user’s call.
Check the destination and Smart Dialing
Check the complete destination in international format against the contact’s verified number, including the destination country code. A number copied from a domestic phonebook may rely on local dialing rules that the satellite app does not apply. The app’s Smart Dialing can add its selected country code, so inspect that setting if a contact works on cellular but fails here; do not assume your current physical country is the recipient’s country. Quick Dial numbers are shared with other users of the same unit, so avoid changing that shared list as a temporary test.
What the result means: Correct only a verified ordinary destination; leave emergency settings intact.
Check microphone and audio output
If a call connects but you cannot hear or be heard, inspect the active-call screen rather than redialing immediately. The manual provides microphone mute and a choice of normal phone, speakerphone or an already connected Bluetooth headset. Check that you have not muted the microphone and that audio is not routed to a headset you are no longer wearing. Change only the audio output for the current call. If the unit’s speakerphone works but the app does not, report that contrast; do not rebuild the satellite link or reset the unit just to solve a smartphone audio route.
What the result means: Keep the exact device/app contrast for support.
When to stop and get help
Stop if the site or equipment is unsafe. For a persistent failure, contact the authorized airtime provider with firmware version, network status, the affected line, exact message and whether device and app differ. Keep SIM numbers, IMEI, account details and contact numbers private. Do not install an unknown APK, factory-reset the device or change SOS provisioning to repair an ordinary call.
What to tell support
Record the failed stage, line state, network status, exact error and device-versus-app result. Share private identifiers only with verified support.
Common questions
Does Wi-Fi without internet mean calls cannot work?
Not by itself. Local Wi-Fi, satellite registration, available voice lines and an internet data session are different states. Check the registered device and voice-line message before changing the data profile.
