Applies to: C700 terminal, original Intellian guide UG-KC7030-V2.5, especially AptusLX pages 62, 67–73 and 94–95. Distributor-hosted original; not a claim of the latest manual or firmware. Match installed hardware and software. This page does not establish applicability to C200M or certify a C700 GMDSS system.

Work through these checks
Read satellite registration precisely
For the matching V2.5 AptusLX view, steady green Satellite Status means the network is available and ready to connect; blinking green means acquiring; steady blue means registered and connected. Steady red means registration denied. Record the exact labeled state and time rather than treating every green indicator as completed registration.
What the result means: Use authorized local access and observation only. Preserve route policies, firewall, SIM provisioning and radio-silence arrangements. Do not initiate paid traffic, reset, enable remote access, run hardware test mode or open the radome as a test. Vessel safety communications take priority; installation and persistent faults belong to qualified marine support.
Read the route actually selected
Read Current Route Selection and STATUS > Data > Routing without changing them. The guide distinguishes None, Satellite Only, WAN Only, Satellite Preferred and WAN Preferred. Compare the selected route with WAN Status. A connected satellite can coexist with traffic using the vessel’s other WAN; conversely local Wi-Fi connection does not establish either external path.
Compare SIM and terminal information
STATUS > SIM separates the SIM connection from voice and data status. STATUS > Terminal Info identifies BDU, ADU and modem information. Record these alongside registration and route selection. Send identifiers privately to the service provider or Intellian support; a local dashboard or visible SIM identifier alone does not prove an authorized working data service.
Download existing logs before changes
The V2.5 Logs menu lists downloadable compressed log files from within a month. Preserve the file covering the failure and a private timestamped state record before restarting or changing settings. The nearby Diagnostic menu enables hardware tests; it is not the log-download step. Leave that test mode for qualified support rather than toggling it during evidence collection.
When to stop and get help
Use authorized local access and observation only. Preserve route policies, firewall, SIM provisioning and radio-silence arrangements. Do not initiate paid traffic, reset, enable remote access, run hardware test mode or open the radome as a test. Vessel safety communications take priority; installation and persistent faults belong to qualified marine support.
