Satellite internet / Detailed guide

GO! exec: app blocked or internet session expired

A registered terminal and working local Wi-Fi do not prove an active internet session. Read Connection Manager, the selected Web/App Profile and remaining session time before treating an app failure as an antenna fault.

Applies to: GO! exec 9765 and its companion app, manufacturer manual v2.1 March 2024. Not the original GO!, native satellite voice-line repair or a guarantee that a current third-party app still matches a preset profile.

Read the session stateSeparate local connection, registration and data state.
Compare app with the selected profileA blocked application does not by itself prove lost satellite registration.
Check timeout and finish the sessionKeep the failure time alongside session duration.

Work through these checks

  1. Read the session state

Open the device or app Internet screen. Record whether it says connecting, Connected or offers Connect; registration alone is not this data connection. If no session exists, confirm the selected profile, duration and plan before starting an optional session. Preserve the exact error if connection fails.

What the result means: Separate local connection, registration and data state.

  2. Compare app with the selected profile

Only one Web/App Profile is selected at a time; changing it also changes the session for other connected users. Browsing is not unrestricted access for every app. All Blocked intentionally denies traffic, while All Open can allow unwanted background traffic. Record the current profile and the failing app/version; have the administrator review custom rules rather than opening everything as a default repair.

What the result means: A blocked application does not by itself prove lost satellite registration.

  3. Check timeout and finish the session

The configured duration closes the internet session when it expires. A failure at that point may be the intended timeout rather than a dropped radio link. Record remaining time and the actual failure time. Finish your own session with Disconnect when done. The device usage counter is an estimate, not a substitute for provider billing records.

What the result means: Keep the failure time alongside session duration.

When to stop and get help

Do not interrupt another user’s session or an emergency call. Satellite data is billable: agree a short duration and plan limit before an optional test. Do not select All Open automatically, reset the unit, delete profiles or change administrator rules to troubleshoot an ordinary app.

What to tell support

Record model/firmware, registration, client network, device/app Connection Manager state, profile name, session duration/remaining time, app/version, error and time. Keep passwords and billing identifiers private.
