Common questions
Why is there no Bluetooth menu?
Rev1.08 explains that later LT-3110 production may omit the Bluetooth component; the submenu appears only when fitted. This alone is not a fault. Where fitted, PAN is supported but the Headset profile is not.
Why can a registered terminal fail to open one domain?
Rev 1.08 separates registration from DNS and outgoing firewall policy. With the firewall enabled, external names must match allowed rules. Record the failing domain and client network mode for the administrator; do not disable the firewall to test. In DHCP-client or static mode the computer needs the LT-3100 DNS address configured by the administrator.
Does a PPPoE login mean the data is encrypted?
No. The OEM manual says CHAP authenticates PPPoE but its IP traffic is not encrypted. PPPoE and external modem data cannot run together. Record the selected data service for support; do not change the default route or remove protection to force access.
