Work through these checks
Check what the screen shows
If the screen shows an incoming or missed call but there is no sound, first inspect the alert settings. If no incoming call appears at all, check registration and ask the provider to inspect forwarding or incoming-call restrictions. A successful outgoing call does not rule out an incoming-call policy.

Inspect ringer volume
Open Setup > Volumes and Tones > Ringer Volume. Use the navigation key to select an audible level and save with OK. Ringer Volume differs from Speaker Volume: changing the audio heard during a call does not establish the incoming ringer setting.
What the result means: Do not guess a Call Barring PIN, clear forwarding rules, reset the handset or call emergency numbers as a test. Preserve the current settings and keep personal numbers and account identifiers private.
Inspect ring or vibrate mode
In Setup > Volumes and Tones > Vibrate, inspect the current choice. The original manual lists Ring Only, Vibrate Only, Vibrate then Ring, and No Ring or Vibrate. Vibrate Only deliberately omits sound; No Ring or Vibrate omits both alerts. Choose a ringing mode if sound is wanted and save with Select.
What the result means: Open Setup > Volumes and Tones > Ringer Volume. Use the navigation key to select an audible level and save with OK. Ringer Volume differs from Speaker Volume: changing the audio heard during a call does not establish the incoming ringer setting.
Compare one normal incoming call
With the handset registered outdoors under clear sky, arrange one brief ordinary incoming call with a consenting contact and known airtime costs. Watch the screen as well as listening. Record whether the call appears, sounds, vibrates or becomes missed. If the call appears but a saved ringing mode remains silent, take those results to authorized support.
What the result means: Do not guess a Call Barring PIN, clear forwarding rules, reset the handset or call emergency numbers as a test. Preserve the current settings and keep personal numbers and account identifiers private.
