Work through these checks
Separate acquisition from receiver output
Read the current interface without entering its advanced user menu. Home EL and Searching belong to normal acquisition; the manual marks each found satellite with an asterisk beside 99, 101 or 103. Record missing marks and any receiver message separately. Its receiver-setup example assumes all three marks and an H24; do not apply that example as a current universal receiver configuration.
What the result means: A completed antenna search and a receiver that cannot display a programme are separate observations. Preserve the receiver’s own evidence before assuming a pointing failure.
Keep the complete connection or motor error
ANTENNA CONNECTION FAILED points to the interface data-cable connection in the table. NO LNB VOLTAGE identifies missing required LNBF supply voltage on the RF side; it is not the same fault. Record the existing port-C/inserter/splitter arrangement without reseating live coax or measuring voltage. EL HOME FAILURE, motor stalled, reverse or runaway messages need their full axis/name and qualified assessment, not a calibration attempt.
What the result means: The exact message separates control communication, RF supply and mechanical movement. It narrows the support investigation without proving which cable or component must be replaced.
Confirm a real stowed position before travel
For an already powered interface, normal stowing is one press of POWER with the movement area clear. If it was powered off after satellite lock, the manual says to press POWER, wait for startup, then press POWER again to start stowing. Visually verify the travel position safely from the ground. STOW FAILURE / ANT NOT STOWED reports an unstowed antenna; STOW FAILURE / STOW UNKNOWN instead refers to the interface data connection. Emergency power-off can leave the antenna raised and does not make it safe to drive.
What the result means: A stow request, a dark screen and a visually confirmed travel position are not interchangeable. If normal stowing fails or the position cannot be confirmed, keep the vehicle parked and give support the complete message.
When to stop and get help
Do not travel with the antenna unstowed or its position uncertain. Keep clear of moving parts; leave roof work, manual stow, calibration, live coax and motor faults to qualified support.
What to tell support
Give support the SK-SWM3 identity, full interface text, satellite asterisks, receiver model/message, known distribution layout, event time and observed stow position. Keep account details private.
