nbn Sky Muster connection box

nbn connection-box identification, official user guide and safe first checks.

Confirm your model

The nbn-supplied indoor box connects the installed satellite feed to your provider’s router. Its appearance may vary; use the ID on your actual box when contacting the provider.

How it connects

  1. nbn-installed dish Installed satellite cable
  2. nbn connection box Ethernet
  3. Provider router
Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

A Wi-Fi fault can be local even when the connection box is online. Check one wired or second device, the box light and any nbn outage before following the official power-cycle order.

Lights and messages

  • Record the light colour and whether it flashes. The nbn guide says persistent flashing white or red after a reboot should go to your provider.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Use only the supplied power pack and confirm router compatibility with your provider. Do not press the box RESET button or replace nbn-owned equipment yourself.

These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.

Model-specific parts: start with the official source
