Confirm your model

Sky Q Mini receives programmes through the main Sky Q box. It is not the Sky Q Hub broadband router.

Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

Compare the same channel at the main box. If it works there, describe the fault as Mini-only when contacting support. Keep dish adjustments out of that first check.

Lights and messages

  • Note the light and screen message together. No receiver menu points to a different check than a visible Mini connection error.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Confirm the main box, subscription and proposed Mini with Sky before buying equipment. More hardware is not a diagnosis for a room-only fault.
