Work through these checks

  1. Read the correct folder

Manual pages 35–36: Drafts stores saved compositions; Outbox stores messages not delivered. Record folder, recipient and timestamp without forwarding duplicates or deleting the evidence. A stored draft does not show that transmission was attempted.

What the result means: Separate a saved draft from an undelivered Outbox message, then record message memory and delivery settings for authorized support.

  2. Record Memory status

Page 39: Messages > Memory status reports used and total message storage: Inbox 250, Draft 100, Sent 150 and Outbox 50. These are folder capacities, not remaining airtime. Preserve important messages; notification deletion has different permissions from ordinary messages. Do not use Delete messages as a quick repair.

What the result means: These are observations for an authorized support handoff. Do not open the terminal or change fleet, SOS or administrator settings.

  3. Preserve provider settings

Pages 37–38: message settings include delivery reports, validity and SMS/GmPRS bearer; maximum validity depends on the operator. Have the authorized captain or administrator record the existing settings. Do not copy another network’s service-center details or change fleet tracking settings to clear an Outbox item.

What the result means: These are observations for an authorized support handoff. Do not open the terminal or change fleet, SOS or administrator settings.
