Work through these checks
01 · DE V7 (RED)
Match the model, product code and manual edition on this page. Photograph existing connections without changing them. First separate TV input and standby problems from missing satellite reception. Preserve the channel list and antenna settings; do not factory-reset, flash software, rescan or rewire as a first check.
02 · USB PVR / AUDIO / S/PDIF · model matrix
The feature matrix assigns USB recording/timeshift only to HRS 8566v2, HRS 8660 and HRS 8664. HRS 2610 is not the HDTV model and cannot process surround sound; a missing audio track is not proof of a dish fault. HRS 8658 has no coaxial S/PDIF output. Match these limits before buying storage or audio cables. For HRS 2610 only, use AUDIO to select another available audio track or choose the existing SD version of the channel; no channel rescan is needed.
03 · LAN / DHCP / USB
This manual describes wired LAN, not Wi-Fi. Record the existing network status and whether DHCP is enabled; do not overwrite network settings to diagnose missing satellite channels. Preserve the channel list and storage contents. Do not factory-reset, flash firmware, rescan channels or format a drive as a first check.
When to stop and get help
Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.
