EPAK maritime TVRO PRO family · Exact manual and safe first checks

EPAK maritime TVRO PRO family · Doc ID 0354; printed 30.08.23; 37 pages

Applies to: EPAK maritime TVRO PRO family · Doc ID 0354; printed 30.08.23; 37 pages

Work through these checks

  1. 01 · EPAK maritime TVRO PRO family

    Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.

  2. 02 · DS6 PRO / DS9 PRO / DS13 PRO / Status -> Dashboard / RX / NET / Status / Status -> Network / Status -> System / Manual Control / Change Beam / Adjust Tilt / Tracking performance / Apply

    Match DS6 PRO / DS9 PRO / DS13 PRO to the EPAK Maritime TVRO original Doc ID 0354, printed 30.08.23, 37 pages; treat the shared receive-only controller/system range as one family, not three dish-size credits or the separate VSAT PRO family. In an existing authorized session, only read existing Status -> Dashboard fields (page 23). RX green means antenna receive lock, blue no lock, white/off no antenna connection. NET green means the ACU has internet through LTE or an external gateway, not through the receive-only TV antenna; blue means no internet access. Status red means ACU errors and white/off no ACU errors; none alone proves TV channels, subscription or whole-system health (pages 20,23). Record SNR in dB separately from signal power in dBm, the existing satellite name and antenna state, and the affected receiver/channel. Existing Status -> Network traffic and Status -> System health graphs are read-only context (page 24). Do not change NMEA, network, SIM/PIN, LTE priority or fallback. Manual Control, Change Beam, Adjust Tilt and Tracking performance are active controls/tests, not first checks; do not use them or Apply, change satellites/beams or trigger movement (pages 24,28). The antenna RX coax also supplies DC power (page 19); never connect/disconnect live. Record existing obstruction, rain/icing or radar/interference context without moving the antenna, vehicle or vessel, approaching roof/mast, or disabling other transmitters (pages 5,9). Do not restart, reset, update, alter voltage/fuses/grounding, open sealed components or the service hatch, or perform SIM, charging or battery work; do not interrupt a known update. Stop at damage and arrange safe isolation before competent accessible-connection inspection. Protect GPS position, vessel speed/heading, serials, IPs, logged-in users and credentials. This OEM-hosted original does not guarantee current reception, service, options, compatibility or compliance.

When to stop and get help

Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.

What to tell support

Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
