Astro Ultra and Ulti satellite installations in Malaysia. Plug & Play/IP installations use a different delivery path: do not change installation mode to clear an error. The Ultra PDFs are older editions; current support articles control the troubleshooting path, not historical prices or promised future features.
How it connects
- Satellite feed or provisioned IP service Installed delivery path
- Ultra Box and approved power adapter Picture and connected features
- HDMI television and home network
Read the whole on-screen message. SCNA is a satellite-reception path; NCNA is a network path. A television-generated “No signal” with no Astro menu is an HDMI/input problem. Confirm whether your subscription was installed for satellite, IPTV or Plug & Play before touching any cable.
Lights and messages
- Edition A shows magenta for on, orange for standby and blinking during loading/software updates. A single blink can indicate a remote command. Confirm your own generation before treating a color as a fault.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Use the supplied matching adapter. Keep ventilation clear. Do not assume a USB drive is the cloud-recording storage or that an older manual’s future-feature note describes the current software.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
