Applies to: This guide is limited to the tivùsat procedure PDF specifically named for HUMAX Tivumax LT HD-3600S2. Its pages say Humax Tivùmax without a printed revision/date identified. Match the installed model and menu; do not apply it to HD-3601S2 or another similarly named receiver. This is a procedural source, not a complete installation manual or a current service/card-compatibility approval.
Work through these checks
Preserve the installed identity
Open MENU and the information entry described in the provider procedure; its illustrated main menu includes Informazioni Sistema. Photograph or transcribe the displayed system information, keeping personal identifiers private. Use Exit to return to viewing. This records the installed state without entering Impostazioni Di Fabbrica or assuming that a version number from a similarly named model applies.
Read the existing signal pair
The provider’s quality-check procedure uses MENU → Ricerca Canali → Scansione satellitare, then the yellow key for satellite settings. It shows power and quality at the upper right for the selected frequency. Record those two values together with the already installed satellite/frequency and the exact channel/symptom. Leave selection and saved values unchanged; do not start the green-key scan or enable SCR/DCSS. Give the installer the readings and any difference between working and affected channels rather than copying the screenshot’s historical tuning values.
When to stop and get help
Do not initiate factory reset, a channel scan, SCR/DCSS configuration or an OTA search to collect these readings. If a software installation is already running, the provider explicitly warns not to interact with the receiver or remove power because it can become irreversibly blocked. Do not turn an update in progress into a restart test.
What to tell support
Keep the model label, displayed system information, affected and working channels, selected satellite/frequency, both signal values, time and any recent change. State clearly whether the receiver is currently updating. Protect smart-card/account identifiers and the existing channel/configuration records when sharing evidence.
