Work through these checks
01 · Radyne DMD20
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
02 · DMD20 / TM103 / Event / Remote / Signal Lock / Backward Alarm
Match the original Radyne DMD20 to TM103 Revision 1.1; do not substitute DMD20 LBST or DMD2050 instructions. Separate a yellow Event from the current alarm display: recorded and latched faults can remain after an intermittent problem clears. Read active alarms as well as the existing mask state. In this edition masking can suppress front-panel indicators and fault relays while an alarm remains displayed, so dark lamps do not establish a clean circuit. Do not alter masks or erase history. Signal Lock concerns carrier and FEC/data acquisition, not every downstream application. A Backward Alarm can report the far end losing lock rather than a local dish failure. Here Remote means response to remote-control input; do not import another model's firmware-transfer interpretation. Leave frequency, clock, framing, carrier and test settings intact. No forced loopbacks, resets, flashing or live cable experiments. Keep network details private. The linked Radyne-authored original is in an existing public technical archive, not on a manufacturer server.
