Confirm your model
Confirm Standard 4 on the package or app. The official kit picture shows a rectangular dish, separate power supply with two ports, and Router Mini. The similarly named Standard 4 X includes Router 3 instead.
How it connects
- Standard 4 dish Starlink cable
- Standard power supply Starlink Ethernet cable
- Router Mini
The supplied Starlink cable runs from dish to either power-supply port. The water-sealed Ethernet cable runs from the supply to Router Mini port 1 or 2. Use the official diagram and supplied parts; do not swap in a generic injector.
Lights and messages
- Router Mini flashing white means connecting; solid white means online, then its light turns off after an hour. A dark light alone does not prove loss of power.
- Red means no internet connection; violet indicates bypass mode. Check the Starlink app before changing settings.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Check Starlink’s account shop for Standard 4 cables, mounts and Router Mini parts. Standard 4 X / Router 3 accessories are not automatically interchangeable.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
