Confirm your model
Check the SH26 label and compare the actual rear panel with chapter 5. The manual shows two rear variants; only one has an Ethernet socket. The USB socket does not by itself prove recording or Wi-Fi adapter support.
How it connects
- Installed SKY satellite feed Coax → labelled SATELLITE IN / SAT/ANT IN
- SH26 receiver and matching SKY card Receiver HDMI → matching TV HDMI input
- Television
Use the matching supplied power adapter and the actual port labels. Ethernet availability varies by rear-panel variant; a missing LAN socket is not damage. Do not follow the Mini’s network diagram for this satellite receiver.
Lights and messages
- A visible SKY menu distinguishes a TV-input problem from a receiver-reported reception error.
- The Slim front panel includes MENU and RES controls; the shared remote guide describes TELA/TV for screen format and resolution.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Choose the remote and adapter for this exact receiver. The combined manual covers several products and labels some controls as model-dependent; it is not proof that every DVR or networking feature is supported on SH26.
