Confirm your model

Confirm SX on the receiver. Manhattan’s T-series terrestrial receivers and S4-R recorder use different documentation.

Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

DISH IN takes the satellite feed; HDMI carries the picture to the TV. For analogue TVs, use the SX-specific AV lead and adapter instructions.

Lights and messages

  • If even the SX menus are missing, check the TV input and display connection first. The official manual also covers resolution recovery.
  • For missing channels, compare the channel-list filter and Signal Info. Use the official SX support page for software; do not install a different model’s file.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • SX does not accept a wideband-only Sky Q LNB feed. Ask an installer to identify the existing LNB and any shared SCR system before buying adapters.
