Intellian i6W · UG-K50034-V2.4

Read ACU status and GPS without altering marine antenna setup. Distinguish cable unwrapping from persistent acquisition and receiver faults.

Model: i6W · UG-K50034-V2.4 (2020).

How it connects

Confirm i6W and UG-K50034-V2.4, not the i6/i6P/i6PE manual. This guide distinguishes Universal LNB mode, where RF1–RF4 can be used, from Single LNB mode, where RF3/RF4 do not carry the satellite signal. Two inactive outputs therefore need the installed mode and receiver layout recorded before a hardware diagnosis. Preserve the regional configuration; do not switch LNB modes or rewire to experiment. WorldView hardware does not prove a current subscription or regional service entitlement.

Lights and messages

  • Read the whole ACU display, including its selected satellite. The 2020 manual distinguishes initialization, SEARCH, TRACKING and ANTENNA IS UNWRAPING. The unwrap message describes cable winding/unwinding; it is not itself proof of a failed motor. Record whether the display returns to TRACKING or stays in one state.
  • For an existing diagnosis result, page 47 identifies 101 as antenna–ACU communication, 108 as antenna input power, 109 as ACU power and 110 as receiver power. Keep the complete code sequence for the technician. A dash means skipped, not passed; a code alone does not prove which part needs replacement.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Do not open the radome, adjust LNB skew, change satellite parameters, run motor movement commands or restore factory defaults to investigate a display message. Damaged wiring, water, persistent initialization or an unfamiliar fault needs an authorized marine technician. TV testing must not interrupt vessel safety communications.

These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
