Confirm SE+ on the label, not SE or Explorer+. Use the combined SE+/Explorer+ manual but only the features marked for your model.
How it connects

Earthmate is the phone app for these models. Use Settings > Bluetooth for pairing; only one mobile device can be paired at a time. Computer sync needs a data-capable cable, not only charging.
Lights and messages
- Flashing green means an unread message. Flashing red can mean blocked sky or battery below 10%; read the screen to distinguish them.
- Test > Test checks satellite service. Check > Check Now requests waiting messages; Extended Tracking sleep disables Bluetooth and message checking.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Micro-USB charging/data port must be dry before connection. The manual permits charging only from 0–45 °C (32–113 °F). A factory reset deletes user data; preserve routes and contacts first.
