Match OC800 / Oceana 800 on the terminal. It includes its own transceiver and privacy handset; do not use Oceana 400 or IsatDock cradle instructions. Beam marks it discontinued without a retirement date.
How it connects
- Approved maritime antenna Installed satellite/GPS cables
- OC800 terminal RJ9
- Privacy handset
The diagram shows the privacy-handset path. RJ11/POTS is a separate analogue-phone interface; mini-USB is configuration/data, not an Ethernet internet port. Have installed antenna or power faults assessed by qualified service.
Lights and messages
- For a connected call, distinguish red microphone Mute from flashing yellow RJ11/POTS use. Follow the local audio guide before changing configuration.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Use the exact OC800 antenna/cable documentation and confirm current parts, servicing and airtime eligibility with Beam and the provider; historical accessory lists do not prove stock or account activation.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
