Compare one device close to the router with another on the same connection. If only one fails, investigate local Wi-Fi or that device first. If everything fails, record the modem lights and provider status before following the matching terminal’s restart instructions. Confirm data allowance and account state privately. A generic TV splitter, signal meter or borrowed power supply is not automatically compatible with a transmitting internet terminal.

Before contacting support, record the exact model, hardware revision, displayed error and when the fault began. Keep passwords, subscriber numbers, terminal identifiers and precise location private. Share them only through the provider’s secure support channel.
