Pathway X2

Portable stationary DISH antenna with MAIN and SECONDARY receiver ports. Two receivers share antenna pointing; they do not independently select two satellites.

Confirm your model

Check the base label for Pathway X2 and both coax port names. Do not use Playmaker or in-motion wiring instructions.

How it connects

  1. Pathway X2 antenna at ground level Primary SAT IN to MAIN supplies antenna power
  2. Compatible primary DISH receiver Receiver HDMI to the selected TV input
  3. Television on the correct HDMI input
Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

Acquire with a direct receiver-to-antenna coax route. The Rev7 10-17 manual recommends the supplied 25 ft cable, limits length to 50 ft, and warns of second-receiver signal loss when the primary changes satellites. Confirm current receiver/arc guidance.

Lights and messages

  • In the source manual, 150 means not all satellites found; 151 means none found. Check sky, cable and setup rather than assuming a motor failure.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Use compatible receiver and satellite coax. No roof or ladder mounting workaround; keep fingers clear of the moving base. Do not buy a splitter to create independent satellite pointing.

These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
