Read the exact TM-5402 M4 Lite label. Do not treat M3, older TM-5402 HD, M4 without Lite or TM-TWIN 4K as identical hardware. The current official page has unrelated camera-template fields above its receiver description; use its receiver overview and specifications, not those camera labels, to identify capabilities.
How it connects
- Existing satellite feed Installed coaxial cable
- One DVB-S2 tuner HDMI cable
- HDMI → matching TV input
Keep the existing satellite wiring and LNB configuration. HDMI connects the receiver to the TV; Ethernet and USB are separate functions. A second USB port adds no independent RF reception path. Power the receiver down before handling accessible coaxial connections; leave dish alignment and outdoor cable repair to a technician. The source specifies one DVB-S2 tuner, not a DVB-T aerial tuner.
Lights and messages
- If a channel works alone but cannot be selected during recording, check whether it shares the recorded channel’s transponder before suspecting signal loss. Record the channel names and active timers.
- The product page describes a four-digit front display. A display or USB light alone does not establish a successful recording or a tuned satellite signal.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The manufacturer lists USB recording storage up to 1 TB and optional compatible Wi-Fi/3G adaptors. Confirm exact adaptor support; do not promise that every USB Wi-Fi device works. Back up recordings before any formatting. This specification page is not an instruction to install unofficial firmware.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
