SRT 7006 only. Diagnostic details here follow the English manual printed 15 December 2021. Other original language editions are linked with their own dates; they are not a single shared revision. Do not transfer SRT 7009 software or infer that a historical recording upgrade is still available.
How it connects
The installed dish/LNB feeds SAT IN. HDMI or TV SCART carries the television output; Audio L/R and coaxial S/PDIF are separate audio outputs. USB connects local storage, not a network service.
Lights and messages
- The front indicator is green when on and red in standby. Neither colour confirms satellite reception, USB write performance or an existing recording file.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The original kit includes a remote and external power adapter. For existing USB storage, the manual specifies FAT/FAT32 and adequate speed but does not guarantee every device or file codec. Confirm the installed recording capability before choosing recording storage; do not format a disk to diagnose missing files.
