STRONG SRT 4150 simpliONE SAT hybrid receiver in Austria. Match the underside label and the satellite version, not a terrestrial simpliONE or SRT 7510/7511. This guide follows the 2023 manufacturer manual; current app labels, packages and availability may differ.

Live satellite television and internet-based Replay, Start/Stop and the online recorder use different paths. If live TV works, that does not prove the internet or simpli app session works. In Offline Mode the manual limits the box to satellite reception and removes online functions; buying a USB disk does not restore the online recorder.

Lights and messages

  • Open the Android device settings and inspect Network & Internet. Confirm connection to your own Wi-Fi or the existing Ethernet link, then compare another device on the same home network. If both fail, resolve the router or internet outage first. If only the box fails, record its network status and exact error. Never publish the Wi-Fi password or alter the dish to repair an app connection.
  • Inside the simpli app, check whether the box is offline, online but signed out, or signed into the intended simpli account. The manual provides Online gehen to leave Offline Mode and Anmelden for an online box without a login. A Google Play account is not the simpli subscription login. Use current official recovery if credentials are unknown; do not delete Google accounts or factory-reset as a login test.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Keep the existing satellite installation unchanged. Stop for damaged wiring, heat or moisture and use qualified support. The SRT 4150 manual excludes Unicable/single-cable installations; let the installer check a mismatched system rather than experimenting with LNB or DiSEqC settings.
