Match TZ-WR320P on the label. Do not substitute TZ-WR325P fiber-service instructions or TZ-WR500P recording menus. This Japanese-market equipment requires the service and electrical conditions documented for Japan. Record the tuner mode and exact on-screen message.
How it connects
- Installed satellite feeds CS-IF inputs: match tuner mode
- TZ-WR320P DVR Selected video connection
- Television input
Identify CS-IF input 1/input 2, the TV video output and any external recorder/network connection. The exact manual’s page 26 explains the tuner-mode wiring. Do not split a single antenna output to imitate a documented two-output installation. Preserve the installed mode; have unsuitable cabling assessed rather than changing it blindly.
Lights and messages
- Use the visible DVR menu, current live channel and reservation/recording lists as separate checkpoints. A menu image proves a usable picture path, not authorization or successful recording. Two simultaneous recordings are not available in single-tuner mode according to the manual’s page 3 comparison.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The supplied remote uses two AA batteries. Match the remote drawing and receiver model before buying a replacement. Preserve wanted recordings: formatting or drive initialization is not a fault-isolation test. Old manual phone numbers, service names and recording-device compatibility may need current provider confirmation.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
