Campingman Portable 3, article 1500191, original Version 1.1 January 2023. Not Portable ECO, ECO 2 or another Campingman revision. The manual forbids mounting this portable antenna on a vehicle. Its historical satellite list does not guarantee current channels, subscriptions or coverage.
How it connects
- Portable antenna Control-Box → ANT coax
- Control unit STB output
- First satellite receiver / TV
The antenna’s Control-Box connection leads to ANT on the control unit; STB leads onward to the first satellite receiver/TV. The separate antenna Receiver connection feeds an optional second receiver directly. Only the designated Control-Box path controls the antenna. The second receiver is not required for operation; do not move the control unit onto that second output.
Lights and messages
- In the documented search sequence, Search flashes green and Reception becomes orange when the selected satellite is found; Error red means it was not found. Bluetooth lit means the mobile device is connected locally, not that the satellite receiver has a picture. The STOW button has no function on this antenna.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The original kit lists the control unit with power cable, one 1 m coax cable and two 10 m coax cables. The diagram separately shows an optional 230 V AC to 12 V DC 5 A supply. That does not establish compatibility of an arbitrary adapter or extension. Preserve the designated antenna/control and receiver paths when confirming accessories with support.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
