Manhattan Plaza DS•100A, original 38-page User Guide with v1.2 printed on the final page. No publication date is identified in the document; the download folder date is not a hardware revision. Its SCART and external-recorder instructions do not apply automatically to Plaza HD-S, HDR-S, DS-100 or current receiver services. Historical channels and interactive-service examples do not prove current availability.

How it connects

The original rear panel has LNB IN for the satellite dish, TV SCART for the television, VCR SCART for the VCR/DVD recorder and mains power. The documented TV path is SCART rather than HDMI. The second recorder connection needs its own SCART lead and selected recorder input; a visible picture on the television does not prove that separate path is being recorded. Read existing labels without moving powered cables.

Lights and messages

• The power lamp and existing on-screen picture are separate observations from satellite reception. The troubleshooting table distinguishes no picture/sound caused by the SCART path or selected TV input from a No signal message. The General menu documents Auto Standby after three hours without remote or front-panel button use. Record the existing setting and elapsed idle time; do not toggle it to create a new result.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

• The original package includes the receiver, remote, a TV SCART cable and printed guides. A second SCART cable for a separate VCR/DVD recorder is not supplied. The recorder and any adapter for a differently connected television need their own model-specific instructions. This manual does not document an internal recording disk or a USB recording workflow.
