A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Read Menu > Settings > About > Firmware version without changing it. The official 2017 briefing lists 5.17.2 and requires existing version 3.0.2 or later for that upgrade path. Ask your provider about the legacy unit and current computer compatibility before any firmware work; do not use IsatPhone 2 packages or downgrade files.
