How it connects

The illustrated rear panel has LNB 1 IN and LNB 2 IN, a separate LNB 1 OUT, HDMI, TV/VCR SCART and digital SPDIF audio. The manual distinguishes two satellite feeds from a single-feed loop-through arrangement with restricted simultaneous functions. Ethernet is labelled “for future use” in this original, not evidence of a current streaming or network-storage feature.

Lights and messages

• MEDIA separates recorded TV (Video), recorded Radio, Music and Photo. In Video, the displayed HDD or USB device matters; programme information is available for the selected file. GUIDE → Schedule lists reservations, whose mode may be Record or Watch. A reservation and a visible filename are not interchangeable proof of a completed recording.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

• The original package list includes HDMI, SCART and RCA cables, with regional contents allowed to vary. They serve different display/audio paths; a fitted connector is not a reason to replace the installed path. The manual describes USB storage separately from the internal disk. Preserve existing archives and leave disk replacement or faults to qualified service; do not format an existing drive to investigate missing files.
