S2/1PCN-W1 DiSEqC switch

Two satellite inputs, one receiver output. Identify the installed switching arrangement before checking receiver commands; a DiSEqC switch is not a splitter for independent receivers.

Confirm your model

Read the full S2/1PCN-W1 label from an existing photo or a safely accessible unit. The manual distinguishes ordinary LNBs, monoblocks and cascaded DiSEqC switches. Do not borrow settings from a similar-looking switch.

How it connects

  1. Installed LNB feeds SAT 1 IN / SAT 2 IN
  2. S2/1PCN-W1 SAT OUT
  3. Satellite receiver
Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

This is an identification overview, not installation instructions. Keep the existing wiring and record its port assignments. Leave roof access, grounding, shared-building cabling and switch replacement to a qualified installer. Never handle antenna wiring during a storm.

Lights and messages

  • Compare a previously working channel from each configured satellite without starting a rescan. Record which satellite still works and whether the receiver can display its own menu. One missing satellite alone does not prove that the switch is defective.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • Ask the installer to confirm the receiver’s DiSEqC mode and physical port map. Save a photo of current settings before any agreed change. Do not add splitters, inject power or factory-reset the receiver as a substitute for identifying the installation.
