How it connects

Keep the installed coaxial feed and LNBF settings unchanged. HDMI or AV carries the picture to the selected television input; the USB socket is for supported media functions, not a replacement satellite feed. Use the original matching external power supply.

Lights and messages

• An activation banner is not the same fault as a television reporting no HDMI signal. First check whether the B7 menus and an available free-to-air channel appear. If they do, note the blocked channel and banner before buying parts. If reception is missing across channels, activation cannot repair the installed feed.
• Read the existing signal-quality display without changing the LNBF configuration. The cited B7 manual requires at least 80% quality on channel 1 with the LNBF configured for SAT HD Regional activation. This is a B7-specific condition, not a universal meter threshold. If it is below that condition or fluctuates, ask an installer to assess reception rather than climbing to the dish.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

• Do not factory-reset, erase the channel list, change satellites or install a firmware file merely to clear an activation banner. Stop for damaged wiring, heat, wet equipment or unsafe antenna access. Send device codes only to official private support; an activation form is not a reason to post them publicly.
