Bell 9200 HD PVR Plus, original Chapter 2 with May 2005 print footer. These historical output and mode descriptions are not current activation, channel or external-storage approval. Do not transfer them to 9241, 9242 or Fibe receivers.
How it connects
Both Satellite IN sockets receive dish signals. TV1 uses nearby HDTV audio/video outputs; component video requires a separate audio path. TV2 can use the CH 21–69 OUT home-coax route or its separate RCA audio/video outputs. The off-air antenna input and UHF remote antenna are different from satellite inputs. Identify existing labels without moving cables; USB is reserved for future use in this chapter.
Lights and messages
- Single/Dual lamps identify the current operating mode. Green TV1 and blue TV2 show the corresponding programming output; adjacent red Record indicators refer to recordings. In Single Mode the TV1 Record lamp covers recording from either or both tuners. These lamps are not satellite signal-strength meters.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The original chapter describes supplied Remote 1 with a green 1 for infrared TV1 control, and Remote 2 with a blue 2 using UHF Pro for TV2. UHF control of the receiver requires its remote antenna; control of a television by that remote still uses infrared. Match the actual remote number, intended output and antenna record before replacement. No generic remote compatibility is implied.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
