Lights and messages
- Start with the beacon label, existing test record and registration identity. A basic self-test and a GPS/GNSS self-test answer different questions; the View display is not available on the 400. Preserve an abnormal result for authorized service rather than opening the beacon.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- This is a non-emergency inspection guide, not an activation or rescue procedure. Never activate distress transmission as a test. Follow the complete exact manual for any scheduled self-test; tests have timing and lifetime limits. Do not open, reprogram or certify the beacon yourself. In real danger, follow its official emergency instructions.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
