SELFSAT SNIPE · original auto-skew · Exact manual and safe first checks

SELFSAT SNIPE · original auto-skew · Original SNIPE user manual V3.0, linked in OEM SNIPE 1 row; manual edition, not SNIPE 3 hardware

Applies to: SELFSAT SNIPE · original auto-skew · Original SNIPE user manual V3.0, linked in OEM SNIPE 1 row; manual edition, not SNIPE 3 hardware

Work through these checks

  1. 01 · SELFSAT SNIPE · original auto-skew

Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.

  2. 02 · CONTROLLER / RECEIVER / HOME / GPS / SATELLITE

Match the original SNIPE auto-skew controller in manual V3.0, not SNIPE 2/3/4. Photograph the black CONTROLLER and grey RECEIVER cables without swapping them. Record HOME, GPS and the selected SATELLITE light. Steady HOME means fully folded home in this manual; steady GPS is not TV lock, and flashing GPS can indicate an update. SATELLITE flashes while searching and becomes steady when found. Observe obstructions from a safe place and keep clear of moving parts. If it makes noise without moving, stop and seek qualified help; do not force, open, flash or change vehicle wiring. Confirm safe physical stowage before travel.

When to stop and get help

Do not continue these checks in unsafe conditions. For immediate danger, use local emergency services and the device’s emergency instructions. Otherwise, contact your provider or a qualified technician.

What to tell support

Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
