Work through these checks
01 · Furuno FELCOM251 / FELCOM501 · OME-57050-B1
Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.

Match FELCOM251 or FELCOM501 to the Furuno OME-57050-B1 original dated 29 September 2021: FB-1251 and FB-1501 are the respective antenna units, with FB-2001 communication unit and FB-8001 handset. This is not the older FELCOM250/500 or JRC JUE-251/501. Observe Power LED, Terminal LED and Antenna LED together: all steady green means ready to use; slow green on both Terminal and Antenna means searching. A slow-green Terminal with steady-green Antenna can mean tracking or registering, so that pattern alone does not prove registration. Slow yellow on Terminal and Antenna indicates error; steady yellow indicates warning; slow blue indicates software updating, not a reason to interrupt power. In an already authorized session, read Notification Log and preserve Code, Date, Status, Origin, Priority and Message together. Set records an event; Clr records its clearance, not an instruction to clear anything. Distinguish ADU, BDU, GPS, SIM and HS origins rather than treating every alert as an antenna fault. For internet failure, observe whether the existing Dashboard Data field says Connected and record the PC's current network settings before changes; satellite readiness alone does not establish a working PC internet path. Record existing position and obstruction evidence from a safe location. Protect identifiers and any support report, which can include all settings and logs. Leave manual satellite searches, calls, distress tests, diagnostic tests, restarts, resets, software and Admin changes to the appropriate authorized procedure; do not disturb installed cabling or perform battery, fuse or voltage work. The complete B1 original is linked by official Furuno UK support and hosted on its Helpjuice asset service; it is not a verified C1 manual, and historical examples do not promise current service or compatibility.

What to tell support
Write down your exact model, service provider and on-screen message. Photograph the existing connections for your own reference before changing anything.
