Lights and messages
- Separate no movement, continuous search, temporary obstruction and missing channels after lock. The T4’s documented stationary sleep behavior and primary/secondary receiver roles can explain symptoms that resemble an antenna failure.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Perform observations while safely parked. Never watch or troubleshoot a driver-visible screen while driving. Do not climb onto the roof, open the dome, change provider switches, measure live wiring or reset receiver setup for these checks. Record existing behavior for Winegard or an authorized RV technician; wet or damaged wiring needs professional service.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
