How it connects
Manual pages 30–32 distinguish Data Profile/APN credentials from Web Console login. Static-IP APN credentials come from the provider for the corresponding subscription; they are not console passwords. Preserve installed profiles and obtain provider confirmation instead of copying example APNs.
Lights and messages
- The Home page separates registration/data status, signal, GPS and temperature. Record each field before attributing a connection failure to the antenna. A local console and satellite registration do not by themselves establish an active data session.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Do not activate billable data as a diagnostic test or change firewall, APN or pointing settings without the installed-system procedure. Historical documentation does not confirm current airtime availability. Keep credentials private.
