How it connects
DIGIT S3 HD is a free-to-air satellite receiver; this manual is not for DIGIT ISIO S2 or TECHNISTAR S6. Separate a dark front display from a lit receiver with no picture. The original troubleshooting table distinguishes unsupported HDMI resolution, radio mode with no background picture, the wrong programme list and a satellite/LNB fault. Settings > Antenna settings has a test-transponder display: note the selected satellite, LNB type and signal quality before changing anything. A shared SatCR installation needs its assigned user-band settings; do not copy another receiver’s allocation. LAN network tests are separate from satellite reception. Let an installer handle shorts, dish alignment and shared cabling; Factory settings and channel searches are not harmless status checks.
