Exact SRT 7404 French original hosted by Darty. Its pages show production dates 30 January 2015 and 30 December 2014, not a single identified revision. It documents TNTSAT use for metropolitan France and Monaco. Current card rights, service eligibility and replacement compatibility are not established; SRT 7408 and SRT 7006 instructions do not apply automatically.
How it connects
Entrée SAT receives the dish/LNB coax; Sortie SAT is a separate output documented for another receiver, not a second input. The TV can use HDMI, TV SCART or composite video with separate left/right RCA audio. Coaxial S/PDIF serves digital audio. USB storage and the optional infrared-extension input have their own roles; leave the installed paths unchanged.
Lights and messages
- The original front description identifies a red standby lamp and a four-character display: time in standby, selected channel number in operation. During recording, a separate on-screen banner shows elapsed recording time. These observations are different from a timer reservation or a saved file in DVR; read the named display and screen context rather than assuming that a lamp confirms a saved recording.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- The original accessory list names the manual, remote and TNTSAT card. Its infrared extension is explicitly optional and not included. For existing USB storage, the manual specifies USB 2.0 and FAT32, warns about the 5 V/500 mA supply limit and requires adequate speed for HD recording. It does not guarantee every disk or justify formatting existing files to check compatibility.
