Confirm your model
Confirm SRT 7030 on the label. This page uses the English manual dated 16 October 2023; do not transfer firmware or procedures from SRT 7009 or other receivers.
How it connects
For a blank TV, select the connected HDMI or SCART input first. Disconnect receiver power before handling cables. Preserve installed LNB, switch and SatCR user-band settings; ask the installer if these are unknown.
Lights and messages
- The red indicator means standby. Automatic standby defaults to three hours without remote commands; check Auto Standby before treating this as a power fault. A scrambled-channel message calls for a known free-to-air channel test, not dish realignment.
- Grey USB media options mean no storage has been detected. The manual specifies FAT/FAT32 and does not guarantee every USB drive. Recording, file playback and Timeshift are separate functions; check the detected storage and recording settings.
A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.
Before buying parts
- Back up storage before formatting: formatting erases data. Factory reset removes channels, timers and personal settings. Use only exact-model update files and never interrupt an update. Do not open the receiver.
These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.
