Match SRT7004 and the French original with March2016 dates; do not use SRT7007/7008 firmware. While viewing, the third press of the information key opens technical channel details. Record channel, satellite/transponder and reception indications before changing LNB or SatCR values. Separate a visible receiver menu from a missing broadcast picture. The manual explicitly makes USB recording and Timeshift conditional on optional recording software; ordinary USB playback does not prove that software is installed. Preserve installed version, channel list and recordings. Do not buy or load an old software option, factory-reset or format storage merely to diagnose. The original does not establish current firmware availability or subscription rights.
