Match the original SNIPE DISH 65/85 cm standard or auto-skew family, not DISH2. If STB power detection is enabled, switching off the receiver can return the antenna to HOME and prevent operation; do not diagnose a failed motor from that alone. Fifteen idle minutes at HOME can cause normal power-off. Record the actual size and existing DIP preset without altering it. During an ordinary search, Lock flashes, then stays on when locked; that does not prove channel entitlement. Do not reset, flash, change skew or move live cables. Keep clear of motion and verify safe stow before travel. Inspect only while parked, with the movement area clear.
