How it connects
Match SNIPE PLATINUM 2 and the original V1.0 controller, not SNIPE 4 or PLATINUM. Identify to Main unit and to STB without changing wiring. PAIRING means a remote or app connection; STB means receiver power, neither proves satellite lock. Record Searching, What SAT or Found SAT, the target and any [D] indication. Read FW version if already available; do not select AXIS TEST or ODU FW UPDATE. Power can turn off normally after ten idle minutes at HOME. Confirm physical safe stow before travel; do not rely on automatic folding. Keep clear of motors; do not open, force, flash or rewrite satellite settings first. PLATINUM2 CONNECT and the remote cannot both control the controller at once: only one remote or app connection is supported at a time. Preserve the existing connection; BT Setting resets pairing. Keep the MAC address private and distinguish a control-link problem from reception. Inspect only while parked, with the movement area clear.
