How it connects
Keep PRO MAX and PRO MAX PLUS manuals separate. Solid Communication means the controller communicates with the antenna, not that TV reception is working. GPS can still flash after satellite lock; read SAT FOUND, NID and the selected satellite together, then check receiver access separately. Record the complete HOME POSITION, TUNNER, MOVEMENT or COMMUNICATION message; the PLUS manual also names CMD 171. Do not run motor TEST mode or interchange firmware for diagnosis. Before travel, verify that the antenna is physically home and folded; do not rely on automatic movement-triggered folding.
