PROMAX TV EXPLORER II / II+ · 12/2013

How it connects

Match TV EXPLORER II or II+ with the December 2013 shared manual; do not substitute an HD or RANGER manual, and check variant footnotes. Record terrestrial/satellite band, channel-versus-frequency mode, IF/downlink value, modulation, Power, MER and BER. AUTO ID can remain at SEARCHING NETWORK NAME/NETWORK ID after other signal parameters are found; that alone is not proof of missing RF. DRAIN means current flows to an external unit, not signal lock. SUPPLY SHORT cuts external power and needs qualified feed/cable service; do not repeatedly reconnect or bypass it. Check Auto Power Off and Transport Mode before calling an idle shutdown a fault. Preserve channel plans/logs; no reset, update, DiSEqC/SCR or dish-pointing experiments.
