How it connects
Match the label first: the original Nera WorldPro 1000 is kit 107020; WorldPro 1010 is 107730. This shared 73-page guide shows Ethernet and WEB MMI for 1010; do not assume the 1000 has the same interface. Distinguish pointing mode from operational mode before interpreting the Signal lamp. In operational mode yellow means registration in progress or lost satellite sync, green attached to BGAN and red network rejection; pointing-mode colours also encode GPS state. In battery-powered sleep only the Battery lamp remains on, so dark Signal/Bluetooth/Message lamps do not alone prove failure. For an existing 1010 installation, record the WEB MMI Summary fields for BGAN, GPS, Signal and current data connections. Do not start a streaming session as a test, guess SIM PIN/PUK or install the historic Windows drivers. Preserve the existing profiles and private identifiers. The old coverage map and USB software are historical, not current service or operating-system assurances.
