Match roof-mounted VuDome MXL004 and 9111202 Issue 1, not portable MXL005 or automatic VuQube II. This is stationary reception, not in-motion tracking. Its blue remote supports STORE/RECALL1–4; holding a preset too long can overwrite it instead of recalling. Vehicle movement makes old stored pointing positions unreliable; do not assume a recalled position proves the satellite.
How it connects
Match roof-mounted VuDome MXL004 and 9111202 Issue 1, not portable MXL005 or automatic VuQube II. This is stationary reception, not in-motion tracking. Its blue remote supports STORE/RECALL1–4; holding a preset too long can overwrite it instead of recalling. Vehicle movement makes old stored pointing positions unreliable; do not assume a recalled position proves the satellite. Read the installed receiver’s signal/quality display while observing the remote, not an old channel list. MAIN serves the primary receiver; a responding remote is not proof of satellite lock. E0 means commands are not reaching the dome; E1 means the remote is not receiving its response. Move the remote closer before treating either as a broadcast failure. REVERSE DIRECTION indicates a rotation limit: do not force the mechanism. Preserve cable routing, stop if movement sounds abnormal and leave roof or powered-coax work to qualified service. Historical footprint and Sky identifiers are not current tuning instructions.
