Confirm your model
KING Trac-King 9760 / 9762 · 1305 Rev E · Trac-King · printed pages 57–93. Match the exact model, product code and manual edition. Record the existing connections, status indicators and displayed error without changing them. Preserve settings and stored data; do not reset, flash software, format storage or alter wiring as a first check. Keep account details, device identifiers and precise location private.
How it connects
Match the 9760/9762 and LP TRAC-KING family to section 6 of KING 1305 Revision E; do not use the 9630/9702 diagnostic Keypad. Unlike the stationary 9702 example, this original says to keep Trac-King powered even when parked to maintain reception. Record the actual controller and distinguish RUN: SCAN ALIGN from RUN: LOCKED. The boot illustration shows a loading banner for serial 362651 and lower and an IDB2 version banner from 362652; a different banner alone is not proof of failed software. Preserve the exact Power Up, Please Wait, Load Error, AZ FAULT or EL FAULT message and when it appears. For 9762/9762-LP at serial 360325 and lower, the half-transponder troubleshooting branch specifies a de-stacker; record the installed chain rather than adding, removing or reconnecting components experimentally. Do not generalize that condition to all variants or Sea-King SW hardware. Leave mechanical or magnetic calibration, reinitialization, live voltage probing, internal cable work and roof access to qualified service. Protect identifiers. The KING original is hosted by an existing technical archive; its satellite-region examples are historical, not a promise of current reception.
