Intellian i3 marine TV antenna

i3 marine TV identification, ACU display checks and a clearly dated manufacturer-authored manual.

Confirm your model

Confirm i3 and controller version. Do not substitute i6/i6W instructions or assume WorldView or automatic skew from the brand name.

How it connects

  1. i3 antenna Existing RF wiring
  2. Installed ACU Installed reception path
  3. Configured TV receiver
Simplified signal path, not an installation or rewiring diagram. Follow the linked manual for power connections, grounding and your exact hardware revision.

This is a conceptual reception path, not a wiring plan. Preserve the installed RF and power arrangement; additional receivers or switching modules depend on the provider configuration.

Lights and messages

  • Read the whole ACU display, including its selected satellite. The 2020 manual distinguishes initialization, SEARCH, TRACKING and ANTENNA IS UNWRAPING. The unwrap message describes cable winding/unwinding; it is not itself proof of a failed motor. Record whether the display returns to TRACKING or stays in one state.

A light is one clue, not a complete diagnosis. Match the indicator’s label and the on-screen message.

Before buying parts

  • The i3 product page lists the MIM for North American DISH satellite switching. Confirm regional LNB, receiver and installed switching design with the dealer before purchasing parts.

These are compatibility notes and official reference links. Confirm the fault and exact part before buying.

Model-specific parts: start with the official source

Confirm the exact model and part number with the manufacturer or provider before buying any replacement part or accessory.
